Alysha Meade
In-Home Community Parent Coach
My name is Alysha Meade, and I am a Wife, Mother, entrepreneur, and an In-Home Provider/Parent Coach with Vision Toward Peace. I was raised in Clairton, where I experienced firsthand the challenges that can come from limited community resources, addiction within families, and instability in the home. At the age of six, I was separated from my parents due to addiction and raised by my grandmother, who later passed away before I graduated high school. That loss led to me experiencing homelessness as a minor, giving me a deep understanding of the emotional and practical struggles many children and families face, while also planting in me a strong desire to help families heal, grow, and reunify.
I earned my degree in Criminal Justice from California University of Pennsylvania and have over eight years of experience working with children with intellectual disabilities and families in need of support. My personal experiences, professional background, and faith in Jesus Christ have shaped my passion for serving others with compassion, patience, and understanding.
As an In-Home Provider/Parent Coach, I support families through mentorship, positive communication strategies, emotional support, conflict resolution, goal-setting, hands-on parenting guidance, advocacy, and skill-building techniques that promote stability within the home. I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where parents feel encouraged while helping children and families build stronger, healthier relationships and long-term success.
