A Message From Erica

I didn’t know it at the time, but Vision Towards Peace (VTP) first sparked to life in my early childhood, when my mother fell into addiction. My mother. The same woman who cooked dinner for the neighborhood children, helped with their homework, and made sure I had fresh sheets before bed. Somehow, my unfaltering, unbreakable mother…stumbled.

By the grace of God, she fought her way through and recovered. But the lesson was still there: Struggle isn’t reserved for bad people. Any mental or emotional challenge – whether it be addiction, depression, or grief – can creep its way into anyone’s life without invitation.

At VTP, we recognize that struggle is contagious. When one person is affected, so are family members, friends, and children. Luckily, wellness is also contagious. Every moment that you spend working to better yourself, you are bettering the lives of those around you. We will work together to build the life that you want for yourself and your loved ones – and to give you peace of mind.

I opened VTP with a singular goal – provide a safe space for members of my community to work through their struggles, without judgement or prejudice. I guarantee you’ll feel the difference the moment you walk through our doors. Our job is not to dissect how you got here. Our job is to help you develop a plan to get you where you need to be – and keep you there.

Wishing you wellness.
